How to bridge USDC to Arc
The safest way to bridge USDC to Arc is Circle's CCTP, which burns USDC on the source chain and mints native USDC on Arc, usually in about a minute. arky's Deposit wizard runs CCTP for you from 15 chains, so your USDC lands on Arc ready to trade memecoins, prediction markets and spot.
Your options at a glance
| Method | Best for | What you get on Arc | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Circle CCTP (direct or via an app) | USDC already on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and other CCTP chains | Native USDC, minted by Circle | About 60 s inbound, depending on the source chain |
| arky Deposit wizard (CCTP) | Trading on Arc without handling contracts | Native USDC in your arky wallet | Shown per chain in the wizard |
| Exchange withdrawal | USDC on a centralised exchange | Native USDC, if the exchange offers the Arc network | Exchange-dependent |
| Third-party bridges and swap aggregators | Starting from a non-USDC asset (ETH, BTC, SOL…) | USDC after a swap | Provider-dependent |
Method 1: Circle CCTP
Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) is the native way to move USDC. It uses burn-and-mint: USDC is burned on the source chain, Circle's attestation service signs a message, and the same amount is minted on Arc. Nothing sits in a bridge pool, and you receive genuine USDC rather than a wrapped token. Arc is CCTP domain 26, and USDC lives at 0x3600000000000000000000000000000000000000 (Arc docs: contract addresses).
The flow under the hood is: approve, depositForBurn on the source chain, wait for the attestation, then receiveMessage on Arc. Inbound transfers usually need about 60 seconds for attestation, depending on how fast the source chain finalizes. Outbound transfers from Arc are quick because Arc blocks are final as soon as they are produced (Arc docs: CCTP bridging). You do not have to call these contracts yourself: wallets and apps built on CCTP, including Circle's own App Kit, do it for you.
Method 2: the arky Deposit wizard
arky's Deposit wizard is CCTP with the steps laid out. In the app, open Wallet, then Deposit:
- Pick a chain. Arc plus 15 CCTP source chains, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Unichain, Linea and Sonic, each with its logo and a search box.
- Send USDC. The wizard shows your address, a QR code, the chain ID and a USDC-only warning.
- Watch it land. The receipt step follows the burn through Circle's attestation service and your Arc balance, and shows the exact amount received with transaction links.
The Send wizard does the reverse: it quotes Circle's fee live, shows what the recipient receives and the arrival time, then burns on Arc and lets Circle forward the mint. On Arc mainnet, arky also has an "Other crypto" tab that turns major non-USDC assets into USDC on Arc through third-party routing providers; the quote shows the full cost before you send. Start at app.arky.bet.
Method 3: withdraw from an exchange
Arc's official ecosystem page lists centralised exchanges including Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin and Gate (arc.io/ecosystem). Being listed does not guarantee that every exchange offers USDC withdrawals on the Arc network in your region. Before withdrawing, check that "Arc" is offered as the network for USDC, send a small test amount first, and use the address from your own wallet on Arc.
Method 4: bridges and aggregators
Cross-chain protocols listed on arc.io/ecosystem include Across and LayerZero, and trading aggregators such as LI.FI and KyberSwap. These are useful when you start from ETH or another asset and want USDC on Arc in one step. They charge their own fees and spreads, so compare the amount you will receive, not just the headline fee.
Safety checklist
- Confirm the destination is Arc mainnet (chain ID 5042), not Arc Testnet (5042002). See add Arc to MetaMask.
- Prefer CCTP for USDC: you receive native USDC, not a wrapped copy.
- Send a small amount first when using a new route.
- Keep a little USDC on Arc for gas; there is no separate gas token to buy.
- Check your address on explorer.arc.io if a deposit seems slow.
After the bridge
Once USDC is on Arc, you can trade straight away. arky is the trading terminal of Arc: the trading terminal, memecoin launchpad and USDC prediction markets, plus spot trading with live prices. See how to trade crypto with USDC, or explore other apps in the Arc ecosystem.
FAQ
How do I bridge USDC to Arc?
Use Circle's CCTP, which burns USDC on the source chain and mints native USDC on Arc. You can use it through a CCTP-based app such as arky's Deposit wizard, or withdraw USDC from an exchange that supports the Arc network.
How long does a CCTP transfer to Arc take?
Inbound CCTP transfers usually need about 60 seconds for Circle's attestation, depending on the source chain's finality. Transfers out of Arc are fast because Arc blocks are final immediately.
What is the Arc CCTP domain?
Arc is CCTP domain 26. USDC on Arc is at 0x3600000000000000000000000000000000000000.
Is bridged USDC on Arc the same as native USDC?
With CCTP, yes. CCTP mints native USDC issued by Circle on Arc, not a wrapped token.
Can I deposit to Arc from Binance or Coinbase?
Arc's ecosystem page lists Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bybit and other exchanges. Check on the exchange that Arc is offered as a USDC withdrawal network before sending, and test with a small amount.
