Arc mainnet network details: chain ID, RPC, explorer and gas
Arc mainnet uses chain ID 5042 (0x13B2), RPC URL https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io, block explorer https://explorer.arc.io and USDC as its gas token. Blocks are final in under a second. These values come from Circle's Arc docs and were checked live on 5 October 2026 by arky, the trading terminal on Circle's Arc chain.
A reference page for wallets, bots and builders. Every value links to its source; values marked "measured" are our own reads of the public RPC on 5 October 2026. Want the click-by-click wallet setup instead? See how to add Arc to MetaMask.

What is the Arc mainnet RPC URL?
The public Arc mainnet RPC URL is https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io. For production traffic the docs list provider endpoints too; the public endpoint rate-limits bursts (we hit HTTP 429 when sending rapid calls).
| Provider | HTTPS RPC | WebSocket |
|---|---|---|
| Arc (public) | https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io | Not listed for mainnet |

What are the Arc testnet details?
Arc Testnet uses chain ID 5042002 (hex 0x4CEF52), RPC https://rpc.testnet.arc.io (WebSocket wss://rpc.testnet.arc.io), explorer https://explorer.testnet.arc.io, and free test USDC from faucet.circle.com (Arc docs). Test USDC has no value. Step-by-step help: Arc testnet faucet.
How much does gas cost on Arc?
Gas on Arc is paid in USDC and costs a fraction of a cent for ordinary transactions. At the 20 gwei base fee we read on 5 October 2026, a plain transfer (21,000 gas) costs 21,000 × 20 gwei = 0.00042 USDC, and a swap using 200,000 gas costs about 0.004 USDC. Arc smooths the base fee with an exponentially weighted moving average so it stays predictable in dollars (Arc docs). Wallets must set at least 20 gwei maxFeePerGas, or the transaction is dropped without a receipt (Arc docs: wallets).

We confirmed with eth_getCode on 5 October 2026 that each address above holds contract code on Arc mainnet. Always cross-check token addresses on explorer.arc.io before you approve or send.
How do you add the Arc network to a wallet?
- Open your wallet's network settings and choose to add a custom network.
- Enter the values above: name Arc, RPC
https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io, chain ID 5042, symbol USDC, explorerhttps://explorer.arc.io. - Save and switch to Arc. The wallet checks the chain ID against the RPC before saving.
- Fund it with USDC by bridging USDC to Arc, then connect to an app such as arky.
Screens and troubleshooting are in our full guide: add Arc to MetaMask. Developers can request the same values with wallet_addEthereumChain: chainId "0x13B2", chainName "Arc", nativeCurrency USDC with 18 decimals, rpcUrls ["https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io"], blockExplorerUrls ["https://explorer.arc.io"].
How can you check you are on the real Arc network?
Ask the RPC for its chain ID: an eth_chainId call to the Arc mainnet RPC returns 0x13b2, which is 5042. A different answer means a wrong or spoofed RPC. Only take RPC URLs from docs.arc.io or a provider you trust; the old arc.network domain now redirects to arc.io.
Where does arky fit?
arky is the trading terminal of Arc. Once your wallet is on chain ID 5042 with some USDC, app.arky.bet lets you trade memecoins on Arc, crypto prediction markets and spot, and fund crypto perps from Arc, with Scout, an AI agent that proposes trades your wallet signs.
