Wallets that work with Arc (and how to add Arc)
Any EVM wallet works with Arc once you add the network: chain ID 5042, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io, currency USDC. Circle named ten wallets for Arc's mainnet launch, including MetaMask, OKX Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, Trust Wallet and Ledger, and the Arc docs give setup steps for MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and Rainbow. arky connects all of them.
This is a support table, not a ranking. Each row says what a primary source (Circle, arc.io or docs.arc.io) states about that wallet as of 5 October 2026, and how you get Arc into it. arky, the trading terminal on Circle's Arc chain, works with every wallet below that can sign as a normal account.
Which wallets support Arc? (as of Oct 2026)
| Wallet | Type | What the source says | How to get Arc in it | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MetaMask | Browser extension, mobile | Named by Circle for day one | Manual add (steps in Arc docs) or one-click from an app | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026; Arc docs: connect to Arc |
| Rabby | Browser extension, mobile | Not in Circle's list | Manual add (steps in Arc docs) | Arc docs: connect to Arc |
| Coinbase Wallet (Base app) | Browser extension, mobile | Not in Circle's list | Manual add (steps in Arc docs) | Arc docs: connect to Arc |
| Rainbow | Browser extension, mobile | Named by Circle for day one | Manual add (steps in Arc docs) | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026; Arc docs: connect to Arc |
| OKX Wallet | Browser extension, mobile | Named by Circle for day one | Add as a custom EVM network if not listed | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026 |
| Trust Wallet | Mobile, extension | Named by Circle for day one | Add as a custom EVM network if not listed | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026 |
| Phantom | Mobile, extension | Named by Circle for day one | Use its EVM mode; add Arc if not listed | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026 |
| Binance Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Gate Web3, KuCoin Web3 | Exchange wallets | Named by Circle for day one | In-app network list | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026 |
| Ledger (hardware) | Hardware | Named by Circle for day one | Ledger Live, or pair with MetaMask or Rabby and add Arc there | Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026 |
| Backpack, Exodus, imToken | Mobile, extension | Listed on arc.io/ecosystem | Check the wallet's network list; else add manually | arc.io/ecosystem |
| Circle Wallets | Developer platform (developer- or user-controlled, modular) | Listed in Arc docs | Built by apps through Circle's APIs, not installed by users | Arc docs: account abstraction |
"Named by Circle" means the wallet appears in Circle's mainnet press release: "Binance Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Gate Web3, Kucoin Web3, Ledger, MetaMask, OKX Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, and Trust Wallet put Arc's markets within reach of hundreds of millions of existing users from day one" (Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026). Whether Arc is pre-listed in a wallet's network picker depends on the wallet version; if you do not see it, adding it by hand takes under a minute and works the same way.
Does MetaMask support Arc?
Yes. MetaMask is in Circle's day-one wallet list, and the Arc docs include MetaMask setup steps (Arc docs: connect to Arc). If Arc is not already in your network list, add it as a custom network with the values below, or connect to an Arc app that adds it for you. Step-by-step screens and troubleshooting: how to add Arc to MetaMask.
How do you add Arc to any wallet?
- Open network settings and choose "add network" or "custom network".
- Enter: network name Arc, RPC URL
https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io, chain ID5042, currency symbol USDC, explorerhttps://explorer.arc.io(Arc docs: connect to Arc). - Save and switch to Arc. The wallet checks the chain ID against the RPC.
- Fund it with USDC: bridge USDC to Arc over Circle CCTP or withdraw from an exchange that supports Arc.
All values, provider RPCs and testnet settings are in Arc network details.
What should a wallet do differently on Arc?
Three things, all from the Arc wallet integration guide (Arc docs: add Arc to a wallet):
- Gas is USDC. The native balance is USDC with 18 decimals; the USDC token contract at
0x3600…0000shows 6 decimals. They are the same funds, so do not count them twice. - 20 gwei minimum. Transactions with
maxFeePerGasbelow 20 gwei are rejected with no receipt. If a send "disappears", raise the fee. - Pending or final. Arc finalizes in under a second with no reorgs, so a confirmed transaction is done.
Can I use a hardware wallet on Arc?
Yes. Ledger is in Circle's day-one list (Circle press release, 16 Sept 2026). The common setup is to connect your Ledger to MetaMask or Rabby, add the Arc network in that wallet, and approve each Arc transaction on the device. Because Arc is EVM-compatible, your Ledger shows the same Ethereum-format address on Arc as on other EVM chains.
What about Circle Wallets and embedded wallets?
Circle Wallets is a developer platform, not an app you download: apps use it to create and manage Arc wallets for their users, either developer-controlled or user-controlled (Arc docs: account abstraction). The Arc docs list other embedded-wallet and account-abstraction providers too, including Alchemy, Biconomy, Crossmint, Dynamic, MetaMask Embedded Wallets, Para, Pimlico, Privy, Thirdweb, Turnkey and ZeroDev. If an Arc app lets you sign in with email, it is probably using one of these.
How does arky connect wallets?
arky is multi-wallet. When you open app.arky.bet, you can create or restore arky's own in-browser wallet, or connect MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet (Base app), Trust Wallet, Rabby, OKX Wallet or any other browser wallet that announces itself through EIP-6963. arky asks your wallet to add and switch to Arc when you connect, so you do not have to type the network by hand. You then sign in once with a standard sign-in message.
Two honest limits: smart-contract wallets such as Coinbase Smart Wallet and Safe cannot sign in yet, because arky's sign-in checks a normal account (EOA) signature. Your wallet signs every trade either way; Scout, arky's AI agent, proposes trades but cannot move funds on its own. Once connected, use the Deposit wizard to bring USDC in over CCTP, then trade memecoins on Arc, Bitcoin up or down rounds or spot with USDC.

FAQ
Does MetaMask support Arc?
Yes. MetaMask is one of the wallets Circle named for Arc at mainnet launch, and any MetaMask install can add Arc as a network with chain ID 5042, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io and USDC as the currency symbol.
What is the best wallet for Arc?
Any EVM wallet that lets you add a custom network works on Arc, so pick the one you already trust. MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and Rainbow have setup steps in the Arc docs, and Circle named ten wallets, including Ledger, for day one.
Can I use a Ledger on Arc?
Yes. Circle named Ledger among Arc's day-one wallets, and you can also pair a Ledger with MetaMask or Rabby, add the Arc network there, and sign Arc transactions on the device.
Do I need ETH in my wallet to use Arc?
No. USDC is the gas token on Arc, so your wallet only needs USDC. Wallets show it as the native balance with 18 decimals; the USDC token contract uses 6 decimals, and both are the same dollars.
Which wallets can I use with arky?
arky offers its own in-browser wallet plus MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet (Base app), Trust Wallet, Rabby, OKX Wallet and any browser wallet that announces itself (EIP-6963). arky adds and switches to the Arc network for you when you connect.
