arky vs Argus: which Arc launchpad fits you?
Argus is the Arc launchpad that led day-one volume, putting each token's full supply into a Uniswap v4 pool with creator-set taxes. arky is a USDC-native trading terminal on Arc: a bonding-curve launchpad that graduates to Uniswap v4, plus prediction markets, spot trading and the Scout AI agent. Pick by what you do after launch.

Where Argus is strong
Argus had the biggest launch on Arc. On mainnet day, launchpads drove about 82% of Arc's $410.8M DEX volume, and Argus alone did roughly $202M with 83,751 tokens created in its first 24 hours (Yahoo Finance; Bitcoin Foundation, 29 Sep 2026). That is real liquidity and attention, and for a new token, attention is most of the game.
Its token design is also thoughtful. According to the Argus GitHub README, every launch opens a Uniswap v4 pool with a dedicated tax hook. Creators fix buy and sell taxes at launch, they cannot be changed later, and the creator decides how their 90% share is used: paid out in USDC, used to buy back and burn, paid to holders as USDC dividends, or added to liquidity. A short opening "snipe tax" that decays within seconds discourages bots at launch. If you want programmable tokenomics on day one, that is a strong toolkit.
Where arky is different
- A curve before the pool. arky tokens start on a bonding curve and graduate to a Uniswap v4 pool. Early buyers trade against a known price formula, and a pool only exists once a token has earned it.
- More than launches. The same USDC balance trades prediction markets and spot, in one Arc trading terminal.
- Scout, the AI agent. Ask what is moving, get answers from live arky data and cited web results, and let Scout propose a trade or draft a memecoin launch. Your wallet still signs every trade. More in AI trading agent on Arc.
- Getting USDC in. Deposit and Send wizards walk you through moving USDC to and from Arc with Circle's CCTP.
Choose Argus if…
- You want the Arc launchpad with the most proven day-one volume.
- You want fixed buy and sell taxes and want to route revenue to holder dividends or buybacks.
- You prefer liquidity in a pool from the first block, with no curve stage.
Choose arky if…
- You want a bonding curve with graduation to Uniswap v4 instead of a taxed pool.
- You also trade prediction markets or spot and want one USDC balance for all of it.
- You want an AI agent that reads live market data and drafts trades or launches for you to sign.
Verdict
These are not mutually exclusive. Argus is the specialist: a strong, popular launchpad with flexible token taxes. arky is the generalist terminal: launch on a curve, then keep trading memecoins, predictions and spot on Arc in USDC with Scout beside you. Many traders on Arc will use both, and tokens launched elsewhere can still show up on a terminal.

Does Argus use a bonding curve?
No. According to its GitHub README, Argus has no virtual bonding curve. The whole supply sits in one Uniswap v4 liquidity position above the opening price, and buys move the price up through that position. arky, by contrast, starts tokens on a bonding curve that graduates to Uniswap v4.
How do creators earn on Argus vs arky?
On Argus, 10% of collected taxes goes to the protocol and the creator directs the other 90% to USDC payouts, buybacks, holder dividends or liquidity. On arky, creators earn a share of trading fees on their coin.
